I find the waist strap very annoying when tighting. I have to use both arms to move it.
I also find the single button to be a hassle. Why can't you use a small selector knob with off, on, eco, hyper and resist. Then have the button for levels? Other than that it works as advertised.
Easy to use well put together and makes walking lighter with 2 knee replacement surgeries
Great product…use it for cycling and hiking..very impressive engineering
I bought this because the Hypershell was slipping down from my waist. The shoulder strap solved the problem. also it helps with my posture, plus I can get a holder to put my cell phone in where its more accesible.
It's light, it's not intrusive, and definatly reduces the effort needed to climb stairs
still in test, excellent design, LED reading on right hip almost impossible to check for an 85+ person, early experiance positive, very good manual in German
No problems at all, the one thing that I highly recommend is investing
in a shoulder harness. Well worth the money and makes the use of the Hypershell easier and more comfortable. I've worn mine while
working my Brittany Spaniel out on a training field in real bird hunting conditions and am looking forward to the upcoming season knowing at 74 I can once again "go the distance"
I have chronic fatigue. While it’s not helpful for me to move around my house, because of quick random changes in direction and me constantly laying down, it does enable me to walk around the block for the first time in years. For that I am extremely grateful and impressed. Thank you Hypershell Team!
I’ve been wearing it close to home to get used to and I love the way I can move without assistance. It helps me pick up my legs so I’m not dragging a foot when I tire. It has added more physical training to my day to day workouts!
Excelente producto
Dear Team of Hypershell,
Over one year I have bone marrow cancer and a anemia. I have little power to walk and shortness of breath. So I walk slow and with a cane.
Now I have Hypershell X Pro and can walk normal and I am very, very happy.
Thank you very much to the developer of the Hypershell X Pro.
The price of the exoskeleton of 999€ is 100 pro justified.
I am very happy with this article And very happy with the delivery, which was very fast
These batteries are great as is the integration with the app that predicts your remaining mileage based on the mode you are using. Everything about Hypershell -from the device and accessories to the phone and watch apps- is extremely well thought out.
Light, comfortable, a huge improvement for me. I'm very pleased with the shoulder harness.
Hypershell adapts to my pace. I am a 75 year old man with reduced muscle strength in my thighs. I use Hypershell to walk on a ladder when I need to get up on the roof to do work, but I don't have enough muscle power to do it without Hypershell. So far it works satisfactorily.
Excellent quality and very well designed.
It allows me to walk forward with easy wider strides, climb stairs easier and faster. However there is less assist going downstairs. Wish it could cushion bending of the knees/legs due to downward movements.
Overall I am very happy with my Hypershell C Ultra S.
Ich denke es ist das richtige Produkt für mich
Working better then m.sy expectations.
Able to go on long hikes without tiring.
This is an amazing time we live in!
My husband is a stroke survivor that left him hospitalized for months, and in rehab learning how to walk again for about a year. Honestly we are lucky he survived. This has left him with a partially paralyzed leg. (Along with seizures and personality changes). So this one moment in time changed him, and our family for ever. One day he was a 40 something year old man, husband, father, son, brother, sole income provider for our family, the next day it all changed. Before the stroke we where an active family, hiking day trips all around Long Island, beachs, farms, nature preserves, museum, festivals.
Our live drastically changed that day.
7 years later, ups and downs with health and financial-no one really talks about the financial impacts this has.
A few months ago he saw something on YouTube where a hiker was reviewing exoskeletons. My husband called me in to the room and said “look at this. What do you think? I can’t imagine we would be able to afford one-but they might come down in price in a few years.”
I should add that about 2 years after his stroke he was invited to do some kind of walking map from a state university that was working on developing an exoskeleton for stroke survivors. He was unable to continue with this program because he had other medical issues. After about 40 YouTube videos I started to get serious about thinking of buying one.
I started to get hopeful that maybe, just maybe, we could get back some of our previous activities. My husband can thankfully walk. But it’s short distance, the house to the car, the car to the store and only about 15 minutes before he is too tired. So we have adapted to this, we shop on line, pick up groceries in the lot. Pass on events that require long distances. Our daughter has to live with our physical restrictions. She is special needs and cannot go out on her own.
After a few weeks of research I narrowed it down to Hypershell.
I did purchase this on a sale price. Which this is worth every dollar, but unfortunately we would not have been able to purchase this if it was at its full price.
I was the one who bought this for my husband ( it was the hypershell or a new mattress lol-we still need the new mattress) but I felt that if this worked it was important to our family.
We changed it the day we received it. I did buy the high voltage quick cube block after it took 12 hours to charge the battery and when you are the most excited you have ever possibly been (including the Christmas I received the Barbie ski house when I was 7), it was a long wait for the charge.
My husband has a larger middle, the hypershel fit him but it did keep falling down and pulling his pants down with it-not good in public lol. I went back to the website to purchase the suspender vest but they were sold out so we did purchase a different type of suspenders. That really didn’t work so when the vest was available we did purchase that. It made a huge difference with him. Because he is weaker he felt the hypershel was heavy and with the suspender vest it takes most of the weight off his hips.
Of course I did play with the hypershel, because they’re robot legs and who wouldn’t play with robot legs. I did not find them to be heavy at all. I should note that few years ago, I broke 3 vertebrae in my lower spine and have some nerve damage in one leg and weakness. I am fuzed and overall I did have an amazing recovery from my injury. So I figured if he didn’t find this helpful I could use them. I found them comfortable and did not bother my back at all.
For him he did have a learning curve, we are using them to walk around in the park-he is using his rolater and on a paved path. He is taking it slow.
At first we did adjust them to put most of the assistance on his weak leg, he did not like this. I assume because he had to relearn how to walk compensating for this weak leg that it threw him off completely. We have it set for equal assistance to each leg. We want to slowly add more assistance to his weaker leg over time.
He is at the point now where I can see he is walking with a better gate and moving much faster. It’s funny because he is telling me he doesn’t notice a difference with them and I showed him the video and he was amazed that he is walking so much faster and farther.
We are planning on going to a renaissance Festival that is a few hours away from us. This will be the big test for him. We have not gone since before his stroke. If the hypershel allows us to do this that would be a miracle.
Thank you all for such an amazing life changing product. And for giving us hope!
I am a Kidney Transplant patient. Also had a full hip replacement surgery. Both happened last year. In 2021 I had an accident and have 6 screws and 4 rods in my C7 area in my neck. Suffering also from Arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis since i was 8 years old. So mobility has been challenging since i was young. I am now 51 years old and ever since I acquired the Hypershell Ultra X S, the exo skeleton has been helping me do longer walks, do a lot more exercises compared without it. I even enjoy playing some Pickle Ball with my wife and my employees. It has been a great help, contributing positively in the quality of my life now. Excited for more improvements and enhancements. Especially on the design and placement of the battery so I can sit comfortably while wearing the exoskeleton when I take a short rest after some activity, exercise or enjoying some sports. I would love to have this on even while working and moving around in our office and work area. Cant wait for future models and designs.
